Start here What started out as an educational trip to exotic Egypt turned into romance on the Nile. During walks through the Valley of the Kings and inside the Pyramid of Khafre, we fell in love. Three years later, with a truly magical proposal, we decided to commit ourselves to a lifetime of happiness.
What started out as a fancy dinner to celebrate our one-year anniversary of living together turned into a beautiful beginning of the next chapter of our lives. Coincidentally (or perhaps not) our roomie-versary landed on our 1000th day of dating. A fact that only one of us was aware of. After dinner, a jar was unwrapped containing 1000 lovingly counted Skittles. A trip down memory lane with mementoes from every date was followed by a swoon worthy love letter.
And then, it happened. Hidden in plain site was a box containing a pyramid trinket box. Inside that pyramid, surrounded by pink satin was THE ring. After many tears and kisses later, we were engaged!
Please join us on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 4:30pm outside of a quaint New England farmhouse, across the gorgeous Quechee Club grounds. The ceremony will be held right on Lake Pinneo, nested in the beautiful rolling hills of Vermont.

Our reception is going to be an elegant yet comfortable affair inside the Quechee Club. We will have a cocktail hour at 5:00pm with hors d'oeuvres on the enclosed deck and then dinner will be served at 6:00pm in the main dining room. We hope you'll join us on the dance floor after, but if spectating is more your style, there is a cozy fireplace to relax by.
This area of Vermont is a major tourist destination. As a result, hotels in the area can be a bit pricy. Our wedding falls on the long Labor Day weekend, which might make booking farther in advance a smart idea.
For your convenience, we've made arrangements with the Quality Inn (adjacent to the Quechee Gorge) and reserved some rooms at the group rate. This is the closest hotel to the Quechee Club, breakfast is included, and we plan to offer a free shuttle service to/from the venue for the guests who stay there.
